Symphony meridien 10bit converted looks awful
I’m on my symphony meridien 5.1.1 and trying to use a 10bit blackmagic codec quicktime. The only way so far, is to load it into aftereffects with the blackmagic codec, and export as 8bit. But, the conversion was not great and when it gets to the avid looks pretty bad. (contouring?) Anyone have a suggestion, other than a newer avid (not goin to happen today to get this project done!)
