Symphony 3.1 to 3.5 upgrade cost???
Does anyone know how much it costs to buy upgrade for Symphony from 3.1 to 3.5. The Avid site just says to contact my reseller. Since they never return my calls, I thought I’d try here. I notice that the MC3.5 upgrade is like $395, does that mean Symphony 3.5 is too?
Also, what are the major changes that justify the price, maybe I don’t really need it after all.Dave Groenier

I don’t have an answer to the question you asked. I just wanted to offer that if your reseller wont answer the phone, you should fire them. I did it once and it made me very happy. Of course it helps if you have a local alternative.

Avid does not seem to want the Symph upgrade prices posted online. I think the list price for the upgrade is around 820EUR in Europe, ex VAT. I’m guessing that will compare to 995 USD.
