    Hello all.

One more UI quirk that I’m not able to find an answer to in either the forum or the manual.

I’d like to be able to symmetrically drag the in and out point of a given transition, like a cross-fade or what-have-you, similar to the default behavior in FCP where you can grab one side of a transition and it automatically shortens the other side equally.

I’ve tried a bunch of different key combos while dragging and I’m still only able to change the length one side at a time, which is definitely a great feature to have, but most of the time, I want my fades to be the same length on either side of the cut.

I’m aware that I can double click the transition and either drag or key in via the keypad a duration, but that seems slower than it should be and I’d like something a little more precise than adjusting one side and then the other in the timeline.

    Thank you for your time.

Highlight the transition and in the Effect Controls window drag your mouse over the duration numbers while holding down the left mouse button (win).
