    the 103 version of the driver causes freezing and drains the battery very fast, is thre a new driver, where to get it?

    This is the latest driver and it works great with the new unibody 15″ MBP’s.

    thanks, but that is the driver that i have and it does not work on my new 17″ unibody, it works great in older 17″s

    Below is the info to a Sony tech he sent me the new driver back on DEC 1 2008.

    Then they released it a week later.

    I would contact him and tell him what is up.

    When I reported problem with the new 15″ MBPs it took about 6 weeks for them to fix it. Sony was very nice about it, there were a number of us reporting the problem back then.

    Hi Pedro,
    did you sort out your problem? it’s just that I’m waiting for mine new 17″ and would like to know if there are any problems I’ll have to be aware of. Thanks
