  • SxS device driver for MacBook Pro slot not working under clean install of Mavericks

Posted by Martin Phillips on November 5, 2013 at 5:57 pm

Just done a clean install of Mavericks onto the MacBook Pro – whilst everything else seems to work fine (SxS footage into FCPX, Content Browser and XDCAM Transfer) there is no recognition when an SxS card is put into the slot. This is using SxS_Device_Driver_mac_v1.1.2.10220.

Works fine under Mountain Lion, so will be reverting back to my cloned disk image of this until there (hopefully!) will be a fix.

Has anyone else had success and/or am I missing something?!

Just as an update to this – the Mavericks 10.9.2 update has fixed this problem, one which seems to be confined to this particular model of MacBook Pro.
