Posted by Don Cobble on May 13, 2013 at 4:00 pmI am switching to Adobe Pre Pro 5.5 as primary editing. Have traditionally used cineform intermediary for editing. Is this a yes or no no with adobe Pre Pro. I shoot Sony EX1 30P 1920×1080

May 13, 2013 at 6:09 pmSteve,
If I may ask, do you have any experience or knowledge of Boris with PrePro. I have been Vegas Pro Primarily and Adobe when needed. Since I am switching over I have some software I am familiar with, but, I know all do not work as well as others in particular editing programs. Also (side note) saw you are from Burlington NC – great place Graduated HS there

May 13, 2013 at 7:07 pmWe had Boris Continuum Complete for years on Premiere Pro, but haven’t kept it upgraded since CS3, but AFAIK it still works well.
Which one…Williams or Cummings? Williams for me.

May 13, 2013 at 8:17 pmWe find that we rarely need to use anything but Ultra Key, found in Premiere, but I’m not sure it was in CS5.5. Otherwise we use Keylight in After Effects.
Let’s do the high school reminiscing via email –
