I am recording concerts of my band and have two camera angles. in the edits i would like to be able to have the Music playing and then switch from one camera angle to the other seamlessly and sometimes with transitions . How do I go about doing this?

I would like to be able to switch back and forth several times during each song, We are playing jazz and the focus keeps changing from one musician to the other.

    Hi Joseph,
Would probably suggest doing a multiclip edit. Sync both angles via timecode or in-point, select your audio source from either camera angle then start cutting. When your done with the cut, collapse the multiclip sequence and add the required transitions. Check out the FCP Manual for multiclip editing. You can’t go wrong!

    All the best,

    Simon
