    Hi,

    I don’t know where to post this so I’ll start in Field Production.

    I’m looking for user feedback on the Newtek Tricaster TCXD300 Production Switcher and customer service experience with Newtek.

    I work at a community college and we produce 3-camera studio programs and location field productions. We use two JVC GY-HM700U cameras and are ordering a third as well as a JVC GY-HM100U.

    The Tricaster is in the mix as we’re transitioning to HD, retiring original system equipment, and streaming most programs.

    Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Any advice on which Forum this best be might posted?

    While i haven’t used the HD Tricaster we do have a SD 3 camera version. Its not a bad unit, our intermural competitive sports still use it to switch and stream their different events. It is very user friendly and has a very low learning curve, which is a plus for us. Since we have lots of new students every semester.
