  swirls painting on

  Been seeing a lot of cool stuff lately of swirls or strokes painting or growing on as the 3d camera flies around. Done some painting of text using vector paint see https://boro.tv (showreel), but want to create the effect. Do you draw them in Illustrator then some how bring them in after effects, using some kind of draw tool please advise.
