  • SWF Export rendering problem when using image files

    Dear Community,

When I use any kind of image files to export as SWF, there’s a loss of its quality. (only on image files)

The only way to preserve the original quality is to “precompose” them but when you precompose the images and export as SWF, its size is 10 times more than before for whatever reason.

please see below for the quality loss.

I am creating a web banner, which its size is limited to 400kb so I can’t precompose and make one that’s over 1mb flash file.

    Please help!

I have only exported SWF from Flash, but in Flash bitmap image quality is set by JPG quality, as well as by anti-aliasing (quality) settings for the comp and/or individual objects. The current version of AE doesn’t have SWF export so I can’t see what options there are for exporting SWF from AE.
