Hello, I’m editing a piece that I’m narration, and like everyone I hate the way my voice sounds. I’m starting with a recording from my Sony PCM-M10 handheld. It’s fine, not great. Stereo, wav. Are there are any go-to standard routines in Vegas (10) for sweetening up voices in this situation? Sorry to not be more specific. Thanks, Brett

Rerecord 10 times until you have the best you can do
    Cut out uhs and pauses
    Noise filter
    Equalize
    Compress peaks and normalize alternately

Or hire a voice over artist with a sweet voice, then apply the sound design listed above to it.
