diggin the new set up. Much different than what I’m use to, oddly enough, but all in all, I’m comfy with it for only being on it such a smal amount of time.
Midwest Media Group really took care of me on this purchase and John Connely Jr. is da man to talk to. Worked me a great deal, saw that everything was good to go and followed through beautifully.
Pretty neat how new tools can make ya edit different. I can think differently now. Not worriing about making it it to dub time anymore and venturing out into new toys. I still crash but not the day-halting death crashes anymore.
I’ve been working out bugs but mainly re-molding my brain to it’s way of thinking.
    kinda fun.

Don’t you miss the Color Correction tools of Symphony, Grinner? Not to mention the integrated Tracker/Stabilizer? Granted, you can toss in a copy of Avid FX and be done with it, but I’m just curious. I’ve been hounding Avid for Secondary Color Correction in both Adrenaline 3 and XPro 6…both of those products should have it.

It’s a pretty setup you’ve got there. Makes me miss my Adrenaline even more…

overall, the room looks very nice, but
    1) doesn’t the noise from the computer and VTR in your face bother you, and
    2) is that a 1976 Tektronix 528/1420 combo in your photo
    and
    3) tell John Connely Jr. to stay out of Florida, or I’ll take him out the back and whoop his arse.

    The room does look beautiful.

yeah, a tracker would be nice and the loss of secondary color correction blows.
For everything I gave up, I gained something else.
