No, I meant a XDCam disc reader, just maybe the sonnet team can put that above or below the current slots, but i suspect Sony would have issues with that ?? was just a passing thought.

That’s what I thought you meant. Isn’t that just a glorified BluRay? There’d probably be licensing issues up the you-know-what. The nice thing about all the current choices are that they are common computer interfaces and not specialized equipment.

Yes very glorified blue-ray indeed,they are also very expensive and only perform one task for one piece of media..
