Sweep Nurbs wont work with Ai Text?
Hi all!
I am trying to create some animated text with sweep nurbs, but my Illustrator 8 file wont work when I import it and drop it into the sweep Nurbs hiercy.
In the extrude nurbs settings, there is a check box called “hierarchical” wich takes the parented splines from the illustrator file and allows you to create the text. Sweep nurbs
does not have this hierarchical checkbox. I’ve tried creating a compound shape in Illustrator but it doesn’t seem to work. I might not be selecting the right compound in Illustrator though.Hope someone can help.

I think I’ve got it, I needed to connect the splines by right clicking on the imported Ai text and selecting connect. If anyone knows of a better way to do this please share.
