    Hi,
Particles traced by Tracer Object, resulting splines in Sweep NURBS, so far so good. I want a first Sweep NURBS to be 100% length, and a second Sweep to be a kind of “coating”, thicker and shorter, as in picture.
Growth parameter doesn’t work because it sees the splines as a single spline, and the Details/Scale curve works as a percentage.
What I want is a fixed difference, as if the second Sweep NURBS would be delayed by some frames, would “start later”. Any advice? Xpresso perhaps?
    Thank you in advance
    Corrado

    Here’s a sample scene: 7585_strippedwiressweep.c4d.zip

What I did was clone a null onto the particles and trace the clones. Then I baked the cloner with a cache tag and duplicated it. Then I offset the animation of the copied cloner using the offset parameter in the cache tag. Then I created a second tracer referencing the second cloner.

So you actually had to bake, duplicate and offset time; but I didn’t think to the Cache tag.
    Thank you Adam
