Ok so I made and animation with a certain still image, I also used that same still image elsewhere in the timeline later on. Same asset used in two different places. How do I swap out that first instance of the still image and retain the animation that’s used on it, without affecting the second use of that same asset on the timeline?

    I hope this makes sense.
Let me try explaining a different way:
One image, used twice, want to swap out the first use of that image for completely different image without losing all the fancy animation I applied to it the first time.

    Is this possible?

Highlight the file in the Comp window, then option-drag(Mac) or alt-drag (PC) the new file on top of the old file.
