Swap Files to recycle behavior?
Hi
I have a motion file with a keyframed bouncing ball, and a simple camera move. It’s a black background with a white ball. I would like to now have a black ball doing the exact same thing with a white background. So I did a save-as to make a new project, and would like to just swap out the white ball with a new black ball graphic.
How is that done?

If you created the ball and background in Motion you can just change their color. You could add a Invert filter which will allow you to change black to white visa versa. If you created the ball in a program such as PhotoShop just drag the new ball over the old one. Motion will create a hooked shaped arrow. Let go of the mouse and it will swap out the old clip for the new one, that way you don’t have to make any changes…if the two balls are the same size that is. Hope this helps.

I was working with photoshop files of the same size. So the drop onto the layer worked perfectly.
