SVP12… will veg project work in any build
I create a project in SVP 12 build 3xx on Win 7 x64….. can I then transfer the whole project to a new computer Win 8.1 using SVP12 build 770..?
It seems logical that it should be possible… but if I ‘Save as’ and choose to ‘copy source media’ and put that in a folder on an external drive I’m having a problem when I try to run the .veg file.
It stops loading SVP at 35% and pops up error message loading file it can’t find even though it’s in there…. and even if I point to where it is it just keeps doing the same for every file. It doesn’t give me the choice to say ‘yes to all’

Yes, any build of Sony Vegas Pro 12.0 can open a project from any other build of Vegas Pro 12.0. Same is true for any other version. As long as the major number is the same (e.g., 12.0, 13.0, 11.0, 10.0) all of the builds should be able to open the project files from that version.

I’ve seen this happen where it doesn’t allow you to say yes for All and I don’t know what causes it (sorry).
