September 6, 2015 at 7:12 pmYeah, its coincidence. There are alternatives so i avoid using it, but only
wish i had its 2Pass feature in other file format options. But tell me, Have you recently updated your video card or something?Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

Me too. I have never used Mainconcept except for preview rendering. Even before the advent of HD, CCE Basic always produced superior renders for me. For HD MPEG renders, Procoder is still my choice–faster and superior renders IMHO than Mainconcept. I even paid for the upgrade to the Mainconcept standalone encoder and deleted it after awhile.
but only wish i had its 2Pass feature in other file format options.
Not sure what formats you’re referencing, but most encoders do support 2 pass renders–certainly Handbrake, Procoder, and TMPGEnc.
