    Yeah, its coincidence. There are alternatives so i avoid using it, but only
    wish i had its 2Pass feature in other file format options. But tell me, Have you recently updated your video card or something?

    Me too. I have never used Mainconcept except for preview rendering. Even before the advent of HD, CCE Basic always produced superior renders for me. For HD MPEG renders, Procoder is still my choice–faster and superior renders IMHO than Mainconcept. I even paid for the upgrade to the Mainconcept standalone encoder and deleted it after awhile.

    Not sure what formats you’re referencing, but most encoders do support 2 pass renders–certainly Handbrake, Procoder, and TMPGEnc.

    What settings do you use with the Sony renders?

    Wayne, im referring to render formats in Vegas, Sony AVC that i use
    daily, i wish that had a 2 pass feature, plus some further tweaking by Sony.
