Sv11 Pro refuses to open. ARGH!
After Sonys latest update to SV11 (595), and I suspect a Windows update too, SV11 Pro refuses to open.
It just plain refuses to do anything.
I’ve uninstalled, re-installed, scrubbed and cleaned and sworn in all four directions, but to no avail.
Any clever ideas would be well rewarded…
(Win7, 8GB, AMD 9550, 2 x GTS8800’s, 5TB RAID, lots of years at the keyboard.)

If your SV 9-11 is failing to install after latest SV or Windows update, Go Here NOW!
It seems odd, slicing out huge parts of your code, but, dammit, it works!
It seems that SV is harbouring a grudge against all that C++ and .NET, code, it gets in the way of loading!I uninstalled as per the usual route, and re-installed, as I’m sure a lot of us have, and it thats not working, right, well, THIS METHOD DOES WORK!
Good luck, its a messy and bloody but an effective solution.
SONY recommend it, and I will too.I’m so happy I could fly!
