SV Freezing When Opening a Project?
Never had this problem before. Trying to open a project I’ve used fine previously, but now it hangs at 3% and won’t open. Shut the program down and rebooted and it happens again and again. Other projects open fine.
What could be causing this? My daughter was using SV earlier in the day and put a ton of crazy files in a big project, but it wasn’t this one.
Could it be a caching issue? Any help would be appreciated.

It could be a corrupt file. To test this out… Move the source files out of the folder that they are in and then open the project. Vegas Pro will prompt you to find the files again. Move them back into the folder one by one. If Vegas freezes, it is probably the last file that you added.

Thanks. I will try that later today. Since the other projects open fine, I assume there was a corruption issue.
I actually have two versions (old and new) of similar projects in the same folder that use the same files, and both of them hang. So I guess there’s probably 1 or more files corrupted that are causing the problem, right?
