Surround Sound Support?
Does “Final Cut Pro 5” or “Soundtrack Pro” support mixing to 5.1 or other format surround sound? This is becoming standard on competing editing platforms and is certainly needed if they are presenting the “Studio” as a complete package for creating DVDs and HD shows for air.
I see multichannel audio support in and out listed as a feature, but it’s not clear that there is a surround panner. Someone please tell me I’m wrong.

Or does someone sell a more cost-effective AU plug-in surround mixer?
