Hi guys, i did extensive research on this to no avail.
I have different scenes that are nested onto a master project. The scenes have been mixed in 5.1
I’m told that once you import a surround project into another vegas session, then it becomes stereo. Ok, fine. So i made the master project surround, but the imported files lose the surround pan positions. I did learn that you can render out a surround wav file and resync them, is there an easier way though please.

Nested projects don’t support surround sound (as you have seen) so you will loose all of that information and just be left with stereo. You are correct that the only way around this is to render the surround audio and bring it back into your master project.
