Keylight is not a press-of-a-button plug-in, it has a plenty of controls that need to be adjusted for each case. One of the best ways to see how your key is shaping up is to change the output to “combined matte” to see what you’re getting as the matte result and adjusting the settings (too numerous to cover here, look for a Keylight tutorial) to get a clean key.
I frequently use “Change to Color” effect to quickly clean up bounce light, but Keylight does have its own screen color suppression that works just fine in many cases.
For best results, use a color correction effect (such as the included Synthetic Aperture Color Finesse 3) that has secondary color correction capabilities to fix color cast from bounce light. That’s another whole subject in itself.
