“Support Files” folder not found and plugins hard to instal..
I have been trying to add a couple of plugins into After Effects CS4 but ” Support files” folder where they should go is totally missing. So I created a “ Support files” folder. In it I created a “ plugins” folder and inside it I created a “ effects” folder and then I put the already downloaded plugin folders. Now I cannot find them in After effects.. I’ve tried to look under the “effects” but I cannot find anything that looks promising. I would much appreciate any help. I am really a newbie with AF so it is all very confusing to me still. Thank you so much in advance! Johanna

Some plugins must be installed, rather than simply copying the .aex file to the Plugins folder. Check with the manufacturers of your plugins to find out the proper procedure.
