Supplies for electrical cable
Hail, O Wise Ones.
I want to make several 20amp 3 conductor stranded stingers. I gather that I need 12 gauge wire – stranded.
Can anyone please direct me to a supplier who could sell me, say 200ft of 3 core 20 amp cable and some good quality plugs and sockets?
I’m in LA, so the shipping cost may exceed the possible savings of not paying sales tax by buying out of state. I don’t know.
Any thoughts or warnings welcome.

I buy at Home Depot (in LA)
Also try to get 20A Hubble Connectors

Yeah, as John says just buy that locally. Not specialty stuff, and that’s going to be pretty darn heavy. Shipping expense would exceed the sales tax savings.
And…. that should be a moot point because of course you’re paying sales tax anyway, aren’t you? 🙂
We do… ever since an audit resulted in a wrist-slap for not doing so.
