February 24, 2006 at 12:34 amHello,
Semes to work now, I have yet to Install Adobe video collection 1.5 as I want to buy Production Studio 2 next week or so as supposed to be solid with Decklink Extreme no crashs and laods more fesatures with latest Adobe setup.
It seems to work okay to install Decklink if I have decklink in the system, then in Bios set manual ORQ’s then re-install XP PRO then seems to fix the freeze issue. But I will install everything and then check over the weekend.
Warm Regards,

February 27, 2006 at 11:39 pmHello,
Seems to all be working fine now the shystem with Adobe Video collection 2.5. However some odd issues.
Mp3’s crackle which sounds like white noise every 1 second on the Adobe Premeire Pro 1.5 timeline with latest Blackmagic drivers.
After Effects quits saying that After Effects has become unstable.
Warm Regards,

June 7, 2006 at 12:41 pmI spoke to soon, seems system freezes ups again. I tried to re-install XP pro with SP2 slip streamed cd I try to install the Supermicro on-board SATA controller or Blackmagic, no Blackmagic in the system or in the system and I get the system freezeups.
I get the freeze when trying to install the Supermicro Sata drivers for the 4 port Marvell or Adaptec 2 port sata, and when I try and install Blackmagic Extreme PCI I get Window snot passed logo testing the 4th box, I click okay and as the file sare completing I get a freeze.
So I’m clueless as seems like Russian Roulette if you install the sysetm and it either accepts the doftware/hardware or it freezes up.
I tried the manial IRQ which I thought to work previous but its freezing after a fresh re-install of xp, I tried all combinations differet Ram, Harddrive, processror and I get lockups. Manual IRQ in bios before I install XP pro, gone to defaults and I get the same problem.
Using the latest bios 1.2a Motherboard Bios revision 1.11 tried older drivers on the motherbaord cd-rom and the latest ones from Supermicro website and same issues. I have asked today for a older bios from Supermicro so who knows may work?
However I think that the board is faulty either on the on-board SATA controller as noticed it uses IRQ9 with Blackmagic in the system or not.So both share the same IRQ so if the port IRQ9 is bad with the SATA that explains the freezeup on there and if the Blacmagic is installed in the system or not and when its in as on the same channel with a bad controoler thats what is causing this.
Anyone had problems like I’m having with there Supermicro P4SCT+II I sent back to Supermicro and they said the board is fully working and has no errors. The shop I bought it from wont except the baord back and askking to do a diagnostic but they will come to same conclusions as it’s hot or miss as yu do not know when it will freeze or not.
Hope it will work as I not been able to edit and cost me over
