    Hey everyone-
I’m looking at doing something similar to the opening Superman titling effects from any of the Superman movies.
Does anyone know of a good tutorial for something like that?

Well, I haven’t seen the latest movie or any other Superman movie for quite a while…

However, if you’re talking about text along an arc with animated z depth, that’s really pretty easy for Invigorator. Be more specific about what you’re trying to achieve and we’ll try to help.

    Thanks Jon-
The titles appear as a semi transparent with a small amount of depth to the letters, which I can do.
But then what they do is zoom/stretch towards the audience and then you kind of fly through the them and then they fade.
I can adjust the depth of the lettering but not to the extent of what’s needed.
Man I hope that makes sense?

If you are open to it I can email you a small clip from one of the movies for reference.

    thanks again…

You can adjust the z of the objects (depth) beyond the slider. Just type in a bigger number.

You can also do the fade in a number of ways.. using overall transparency of the layer, layermapping a fade movie to the transparency channel, or by using the cascading transparency effect in ProAnimator 4.

    Does this help?

    Is the z slider keyframeable?
