  Super slow in Log & Capture and Edit-to-Tape

  Hi,

  I have a Kona LH system running FCP 5.0.4 and yesterday both Log & Capture and Edit-to-Tape window came to a crawl and took about 5 mins before it stopped spinning beachball. If I move the window or click on a tab, it will take another 5 mins before it stops spinning beachball.

  The only thing that got updated on this system is iTunes which is now 7.0.2. Quicktime is still 7.0.4 on this system.

  We tried AJA VTR Xchange and it works fine so it’s something within FCP 5.0.4 that is not right.

  We’ve trashed FCP preferences and even reinstalled FCP itself and still the problem is there.

  Sincerely appreciate any suggestions.
