SupaWipe released for FCP & FCE!
All,
Well, if you want to know what I’ve been doing over the last 9 months or so then take a look here:-
It has taken a lot of time to perfect, but I’m pleased to announce today the launch of my new FxPlug plugin for FCP & FCE, SupaWipe.
What does SupaWipe do? It performs an ‘object wipe’ using one or two objects to transition between clips, stills etc. Objects can be scaled, rotated independently & together. Objects can also lead, match or follow the wipe so you can see there is a huge amount of room for creativity and the polishing of that event, show or TVC etc.
There is a demo video on the site and you can have a 15 day free trial (yes you too Shane!) to give it a whirl.
Hope you have as much fun with SupaWipe as we did in making it.

DUDE, this ROCKS!!!!!
I just grabbed a photoshop image, threw it into the well and there it was, element wiping from one video to another. No need to overlay the element onto another video layer.
DUDE!!! Awesome work and I just spent 10 seconds on it, can’t wait to see what else I can do with this thing.

It was ‘thought up’ after doing a menu sequence everyday for the BBC that had elements wiping in the new video. I thought there must be an easier way and SupaWipe was born!
Took a long time to get it right though.

The little examples you created are great… especially the airplane wipe. And, I’m not sure why, but there’s an extra benefit, every time something is revealed its makes me laugh.
BTW, that guy with the French accent who does your tutorial is terrific… 🙂 🙂 🙂

For years, I have created my own keyframed wipes with rotation and drop shadows using client logos. I’ve always believed that time is money. $99 well spent that will save me a lot of time.
