Hi all! I’m about to buy my definet workstation for a long while and would like to hear some opinions about it since I’m a brazilian living in Japan and find it really hard to get information. I’m thinking about spending around 10.000 U$ to
work with motion graphics and vfx. What would be the best option? I’m thinking about double xeons quad but am a little scared to spend all my money and regret later. I want to be able to deal with heavy renders and compositing with a reasonable workflow.
And would like to ask if anybody is using After Effects, Cinema 4D, Realflow etc with 64bit OS/machine and if there isn’t any compatibility issues? I’ve bought Windows xp 64 a few years ago but had a lot of problems especially plugin wise and had to go back to 32bit.
Please, any information on the topic will be very welcome.
    Thanx a lot!
