    hi

hoping someone might suggest the ideal javascript reference book for an intermediate expression/script writer. I do OK most of the time and have written some fairly intricate code but I still hit these extremely frustrating snags where my lack of fundamental Javascript understanding is exposed. Have had quite a look on amazon etc but it seems most basic/intermediate books are aimed squarely at the Web. So hoping someone has a good suggestion for something a little more relevant to AE.

    thanks../daniel

Why not go straight for a book on expressions? The one by Marcus Geduld is OK.

thanks for pointing that out, I’ll have a look.
jeepers though, I hope marcus did a final proof check before he went to print, maybe it was just the online excerpts but there were some rather key omissions in the string examples ?
