Suggested codec & render settings for a photo montage documentary?
Hi all,
I’ve edited a short documentary (15 min) comprised from black & white and color photographs. There are motion, scaling and fade transitions as well as some subtle effects; there are also titles with minor animation.
The format of the movie is intended for SD PAL, and I’ve set the sequence to Progressive.
I’ve been using Apple ProRes 422(HQ) as my codec and set “Render all YUV material in high-precision YUV” in the Video Processing pane in the Sequence Settings.
I wanted to use high quality settings, but it seems to me that maybe I went a tad to far and this is causing my rendering to take a long time. What would be the optimal settings for such a case?
Thanks
