Hi all, just wondering if anyone can suggest an after effects book that I could get my hands on. Im an intermediate user running CS3 on a mac and just wanted something physical to reference from time to time. Thanks.

Next month, an all-new edition for CS3 of Trish and Cris Meyer’s Creating Motion Graphics with After Effects is coming out. For the fist time, it will come as a single volume.
As far as it’s…. motion graphics in AE, there’s nothing better IMO.
If you’re interested in the VFX/compositing side. Mark Christiansen’s AE Studio Techniques (a new edition for CS3 also coming soon) is excellent as well.
I would get these two, if possible.

Yea I’m mostly into visual effects and compositing so I think that second book may help. Any ideas when that comes out? Id like to ask for it for christmas 🙂

Angie Taylor’s book is very good also. People forget this one and it really is a great book, especially if you wish to learn technique.
