Suddenly can’t edit pallettes
In the past I’ve customized my layout in C4D many times. I’m running R14 and find I can no longer edit my palettes. That is, when I try and drag a command from the list to the palette I get the ghost busters symbol. I’ve tried placing it everywhere thinking I’m not hitting the right place – no go. Anyone else having this problem?

Do you have “lock layout” active in the Window>Cusomization menu?

Its funny Adam…I wonder how many times you answer the same questions on things. I asked you the same thing a few years back! I wonder how hard it would be to set up an automatic question and answer finder. Type in a subject like “menus”, find a list of problems people tend to have with solutions.

Heh, I actually thought about doing a FAQ one time as there are questions that recur with some frequency, but I realized that it would be a pretty long list and never got around to it.
