suddenly authenticating?
all of a sudden i have to authenticate every time i want to copy files from a folder or disc and i can’t figure out what i changed to make this annoy me in such a way. i’m sure the answer is simple. any ideas?

hello…
check your permissions on the target location (not repair permissions, mind you – just right-click/get info sorta thing)….that would be my only real guess based on what you’ve said here…
