    The principle is called ” audio phase cancellation”. Not sure how you’d do it in practice.

    I think you’re alluding to reversing the phase of one channel to achieve cancellation (by mixing them) in the other. It’s worth a try, but I don’t think it will work. The cancellation only happens when the two signals are the same. In your case you have two mics recording signals that are not exactly in phase with each other.
