Subtitling with font
I have Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium 6.
What’s the most efficient way to add subtitles with a font? I’m producing a video in which the audio is difficult to hear, so I want to add subtitles, but I want to ensure it’s always seen as well as (secondary priority) have a font, even if I have to make it all part of the actual video (in other words, not captioning).
The audience will be both disc player users as well as YouTubers, but I don’t want any user to have to look for the closed captioning feature for this part of the video. (There will be other parts of the video in another language that *will* use closed captioning, and for that I’ll use Encore, although I’ve never used it for captioning yet.)
I don’t want to manually create and manage one seperate title object in the project for every line of text, since there is a lot of verbiage to subtitle and it would be too much work to manually keep adding titles from the project explorer (even if duplicating) as well as to go back and reformat the text.
I also don’t think I want to just embed closed captioning as that only embeds the text and not the font (right??), and it also doesn’t support “always visible” flags (right??) ..
Ideas?
