    Please let me know about tutorials to learn how to subtitle (open caption) using with Premiere Pro CS 6.0.
    All I could find is related to Premiere Pro CC.

    You probably do NOT want to do this in Premiere if it’s more than a handful.
    (Any NLE is dog slow in this, and you need to do a lot of timing / move text from one title to another, stuff like this.)

    So I recommend a dedicated subtitle tool.

    Then, for fine tuning you can use Premiere.

    Untested in your version, but you might want to give it a try. I’m pretty sure it works.
    (If the XML does not work, you can use and EDL and link PNG files to that, that MUST work.)

    For both open and closed captioning, amara.org. It’s free and easy to use.
