Hi, I’m from Hong Kong and a newcomer to Adobe Premiere CS4.
Recently, I have a 40mins drama edited in Premiere. I need to do subtitling on that video. I want to know are there any plugins/software that I can do my subtitling in a faster way??
I saw some people use hardware subtitler so that what they need to do is to press a button on the keyboard and ‘IN/OUT TIME’ of the subtitle are marked. Can I do this on Premiere?

I only have a .txt file with dialogue only.
I have to provide a .txt file WITH timecode (PAL/NTSC) on it, so that my clients can use this file with hardware subtitler later on.

any solutions, any one help me?? Please

    Hi Kei,

First, we have to establish that true subtitles can be turned off, as in a DVD feature. These subtitles reside in a separate text file that contains in and out timecode points along with text on that same line. That can only be imported into DVD encoders such as Adobe Encore, but not Premiere.

TitleFactory allows you to do what you described, pressing a button to create ins and outs based on your transcribed and translated audio.
