    I have used the subtitle workshop for start and end times for subtitles…it creates a txt file literally designed just for ENCORE, i HAVE CS4 ENCORE. It will not import it throws up a window stating: THE SOFTWARE THATS USED TO DECODE THE MEDIA IS NOT AVAILABLE ON THIS SYSTEM. INSTALLING THE CORRECT DECODERS FOR THE FILES YOU ARE WORKIGN WITH MAY HELP…WHAT DO I DO NOW HELP?!

    Hi Chris,

    Encore accepts subtitles in UTF-8 format . You can save your subtitle file in subtitle workshop as ” Save as Encore subtitles”.

    This file will be imported fine in Encore .
