  subtitles rft conversion to EDL

  I have a rft file that contains about 200 subtitles in this format:

  2 10:12:26:10 10:12:33:19 O moon in the velvet heavens,
  3 10:12:37:00 10:12:43:08 your light shines far.
  4 10:12:48:21 10:12:55:13 You roam throughout the whole world
  5 10:13:00:09 10:13:07:23 gazing into human dwellings.
  6 10:13:39:03 10:13:49:15 O moon, stay a while!
  7 10:13:52:13 10:14:04:05 Tell me where my beloved is!
  8 10:14:56:19 10:15:05:14 Oh, tell him, silver moon,
  9 10:15:07:19 10:15:17:15 that my arms enfold him
  10 10:15:20:16 10:15:29:10 in the hope that for at least a moment
  11 10:15:32:06 10:15:42:05 he will dream of me.

  and I’d like to import them into FCP as text. I think the best way to do this would be to convert this rft into an xml file but don’t know how to do that. Anyone out there have any advice on this?
