subtitles not burned….?
Why does the file with the subtitles not play from the Explorer window?
The Explorer window can only plays the file without the subtitles, and, the project with subtitles can play from the timeline.When I burn to DVD, it only burns the file without the subtitles, — it previews with subtitles when I click “Preview” button (beside “Make DVD” button, near top of interface).

Are you talking about subtitles or closed captions? I don’t know of any version of Vegas that will preview subtitles, only closed captions in Vegas Pro 10.0 or 9.0e.

The button above the timeline in Architect2, says “insert subtitle text event.” When played from the timeline and the Preview, the subtitles are shown. Why doesn’t the video from the burned DVD show the subtitles?

Sorry, this is a Vegas forum so I didn’t realize you were talking about DVD Architect. Do you have subtitles turned on for your DVD player? You may have to enable their display on your player.
