subtitles get enlarged in 16:9 sequence
I have a 4:3 project that I have been converting to 16:9. I created a new sequence and changed the properties to 16:9 anamorphic. I pasted all of the clips and scaled / stretched the clips accordingly. Everything is fine with the video.
The problem that I have is when I create subtitles they get enlarged and lose resolution. They display at the correct size in the viewer (which for some reason is 4:3) but when dropped into the timeline they automatically get enlarged. There is no scaling under the motion tab so I don’t understand what’s happened. I could reduce the font size but the problem is the loss of resolution which is noticeable on the finished DVD. Any thoughts?
