Subtitles Drop Shadow
Hello All:
I am editing a foreign film and adding subtitles to it.
I added drop shadow to the subtitles. FCP default setting was:
Offset 2, Angle 135, Softness 10, Opacity 100.
Is this the standard used in movies? If not, what kind of drop shadow setting would be easily readable for the audience?
I know there is nothing called standard but what are the recommended settings.

I usually go with a 1 pixel outline when creating subtitles in MacCaption or Encore.
