    Hello all,

I was captioning a film I made for an Encore DVD and I used the site I normally use to caption my YouTube videos (captiontube.appspot.com) but now I realize its format (.srt or .sub) do not work in Encore. The site used timecodes like the one below:

    1

    00:01:36,247 –> 00:01:36,830

    We’ve got to save him!

So as you can see, it is not using frames for the last segment of the timecode, like Encore wants.

Is there any way to convert them to the correct way Encore wants them without having to redo them with frames as the last piece of each timecode?

I’m on a tight deadline, not just lazy.

    Thanks all,
    Zack

I just did a google on “SRT subtitles to Encore conversion” and must have found at least 10 tutorials and tools for this. Have you tried any?

I’m sorry, I actually figured it out about half an hour after I posted this. I used Subtitle Workshop on a PC to do it.

Thank you for your help though Eric.

If you work in a Mac, you can use Jubler to do it
