Subtitles
Any advice on how to create subtitles a la foreign films. I see instructions on how to creat simple titles for things like a subject’s name. But how do you add translation of an ongoing dialogue?

I like to strech one formateed title over the whole timeline and then as I playback the timline I use M to add markers on good cut points. Then I use the blade tool to cut up the title into various bits. I format the text in a word document with the same font and point size I am using (Helvetica or Verdana work well) and the I copy paste from word into each title.
Any way you slice it this is labour intensive.
