Hi,i ‘m an editor from greece and they asked me to do some composition work for the new theatrical play of tom stoppard “rock’n’roll”. Have you ever seen dylan’s subterranean homesick blues videoclip? Well i guess many of you have , in any case you can find it over you tube.So the director asked me to put some other text over the cue cards Bob dylan is throwing down. At the beggining i said to myself: hey thats easy… I can use the corner pin effect but then i noticed that as the cue cards are falling down they bend so the corner pin effect is kind of useless.I guess i have to use the bend effect some way but some good tips in how to achieve it ,would be very much appreciated..
    Thanks in advance

P.S. By the way is this Allen Ginsberg behind Bob Dylan?I was always wondering…

Have you tried motion tracking the cue cards and using that information to animate the new text?

Set up motion tracking on the corners of the cue card and make sure to track both the movement and rotation of the card. Then use those key frames to animate whatever you are placing on them.

Well that would be the solution if the cue cards werent bending .. I mean the bending of the cue cards creates a sense of perspective and using only position and rotation for the trackers you cant get this
Anyway thanks for the quick answer
