subsequence bug? FCP 6.1
Anyone ever encountered this?
I am editing a 90 minute feature in HDV, working – naturally- in many subsequences which I then combine in one master sequence (that contains all the aligned subsequences.)
Recently I worked in one subsequence , saved (maually) before inserting this newer version into the master sequence, and suddenly all changes were gone and the older version overwrote the newer. So in both, the master sequence AND the subsequnec (that I worked on) I suddenly had the older version, although I did save after updating it.
Scary.So far everything in the master seq always accepted any update when working in one or the other subsequence.
BTW: Does anybody has a trick how the changing lengths in the masterseq update itself when trimming or adding material to or off the subsequences?Any comment / help greatly appreciated!!

Nesting in fcp is tricky. If you need to edit a nest, make sure to double click from the timeline and not edit from the browser.
It is best to a avoid them unless you really really need them.
