This is a basic question I tried to find in the archives…

I shot green screen. My subject was a big mover/swayer and swayed off my undersized screen. It tracked well using Analyze Motion, but how do I translate that into an FCP matte? Sorry if this is an oft-asked question…

    Thanks!

You are most likey going to have to rotoscope… unless the background outside the green screen area may be another solid color you can key from.

Use the bezier mask tool, and keyframe manually. Or reshoot if you can. Or scale in on your shots if you can afford to.

Thank you for the response. I’m going to feather and garbagey garbage matte my way though. It’s for a one-time web use. Most of it is clean…except when he swayed like a well-oiled sailor.
